Use the following details to configure what shows up in your "Community Home". This is intended to be the central hub for common information residents & members seek.
⭐️ Note: This is different from your Community Website which can be either public or private.
Overview
👉 Re-arrange your layout
You can customize the order of cards found on your community homepage. Look for Community Home Layout in General Settings.
➡ Once selected, you will see the list of cards found in Community Home, arranged in the order that starts with the top left and works its way right before dropping down to the next row.
Drag the cards to achieve the order you wish to see on the page, or click the "eye" icon to hide any particular card.
👉 Top Banner
Click the Top Banner tab to see and edit the optional top banner for Community Home. Banner is optional. You can upload your own or use a pre-set design. You can add a title and text as desired. The Banner is off by default -make sure you turn the slider "ON" if you want it shown.
😄 You can upload your own custom banner in the lower design section, with the recommended size being 2560 x 480 pixels or a 16:3 layout. You can use a JPG, a PNG, or a WebP up to 10 MB.
Click "Upload custom banner." Choose the file from your system and upload.
🤖 AI Banner Creation - you can click "Design with AI," which will open a creator window for you to describe your banner and generate one using Vlge's AI.
👉 Describe your ideal banner using colors, objects, places, and scenes, and then click Generate to see the results. See the example below.
👉 Once the image is created, you can use your mouse to adjust exactly where the center of the image is by dragging the image upward or downward in the frame. You can also use the zoom bar to adjust the visual center between left and right. If you don't like the image that was generated, you can use the same prompt by clicking Generate Another, or you can edit the prompt and click Generate Another to get a different image altogether. Save to Library when complete.
🤖 About AI Credits
Each time you use AI to generate a custom image, it requires "credits". For Vlge Pro accounts, 50 credits are automatically included, which will enable the generation of up to 25 images. You can purchase additional credits as needed (~$0.50 per image) should you need more, but generally 25 is sufficient for quite a few different options.
➡ Banner Library - As you upload custom banners, they will be stored in the My Community Banners section, where you can maintain up to 20 banners. Choose among them to display on Community Home, or delete them to make room for more.
FAQ Card - Editable by Admins
You no doubt see repeat questions asked in your community and this is your chance to add them with their answers. Once added they become searchable and help reduce contacts to the Board while improving customer experience.
Each question can be expanded for the answer and any applicable links.
As a Board Member or Admin, you will notice you have Editing links in the FAQ section.
Clicking these icons or selecting +Add FAQ will open a dialogue that allows you to customize your community's FAQ's. You can arrange the order, add links, and style the answers.
