Your community homepage, by default, contains a number of meaningful links or pages that are most visited by an average community. These include "Frequently Asked Questions" (to get ahead of member inquiries and save board time),
a dedicated help pop-up instructing residents and members where to Get Help on specific topics, an archive of all emails sent to the community, and an archive or previous meetings with summaries.
There are other boxes or cards, such as:
Vendor Directory
Pet Directory
Resident Directory
Groups
Optional Forms
All can be configured.

👉 FAQ's
Edit your FAQs by logging in as an admin, visiting the FAQ page, and either editing existing or adding new
👉 How do I get help?
You can edit your community help options by visiting General Settings. Look for the Management section and open Help Sections.
When you open the help section page, it is arranged in unique cards that you add and populate. Look at the below example:
This is just one single card to which you add a title, choose an icon, and set the description, which is what your residents will see. Make sure the checkbox is filled in for active and visible, and then you have the option to add a button or even add a ticket button.
If you click Add a button, you customize the name of the button and the target URL of the button. If you add a ticket button, you're adding a support ticket generator, which refers back to your support tickets available in the lower-left nav
The Button Label is what your members/residents will see. The URL is where the button will navigate to. Choose to open a new tab if desired.
👉 Adding a New Section
⚡️ You can add additional sections to the Help Card (Up to 4)
⚠️ Don't forget to SAVE changes when complete!
👉 ACC Guidance (Or your Custom Name for Architectural)
One of the areas that we find boards and committees spend quite a bit of time on is providing guidance and answering questions regarding architectural change submissions. To get ahead of these questions and hopefully prevent many, communities have implemented a guidance section that details requirements and approaches for specific project types. By opening the ACC guidance page, you can add new guidance or edit existing.
👉 Email History (Archive)
Who actually opens community emails? Not as many as we'd like. One approach many successful communities have taken is to log these emails in a dedicated section on their website. By logging them in the portal, residents no longer have to search their inbox in hopes of finding an email from weeks or months ago. They can simply visit the portal and find the email that was sent
You can log emails in this section as you send them from Admin Tools and Messaging, or add them manually here for emails sent prior to joining Vlge
⚠️ Note: This is not simply the sent folder for your community sends. This is a curated set of email archive history for the community.
Other cards on the community home, such as the directories, vendor, resident, and pet, can be edited in their respective tools in Admin Tools. Links to the groups page are accessible and editable from the left nav, and forms are editable inside their specific feature in Admin Tools.
👉 Add Custom Cards to Community Home
You can create a custom card by clicking "Add Card" at the very bottom of Community Home Layout. From General Settings - look for Community Home Layout, then look below the last row.
Look for +Add Card
Configure your new card by adding a name, call to action, and subtext which appear on the card itself when placed on Community Home.
Note that the call-to-action text that is placed here is the text that appears at the bottom of the custom card, as shown on Community Home. It will read as "Learn More" or "Open Details" etc. See existing Community Home cards for examples.
🔗 Linking the Whole Card
The default behavior for custom cards is to display information in sections with specific links or buttons that apply to each section, whether these are unique help links or other informational links. You add up to four sections per card, each with its own information and buttons. However, if you simply wish to use the whole card as a link to a specific URL, you can do so by clicking "Link the whole card."
When enabled, the whole card links, and you cannot add additional sections. You determine the URL or relative navigation link that this card resolves to.
The Tooltip explains the link entry on-click:
"Paste a full web address, or an in-app path such as /community-home/events. A path stays in this tab and opens that page in Vlge. The page still applies its own access rules, so link only where residents can already go. A web address opens in a new tab."
👉 Adding Sections
Add Section allows you to add a specific set of links or information on the pop-up that appears when the custom card is clicked.
You can add up to three buttons, one of which can be a support ticket link to create a support ticket, if you want to place that option here in your custom card.
