Home Passport is a homeowner-maintained profile of the property — facts, systems, projects, insurance prep, and seller-disclosure prep. It lives under My Property, not as a separate “My Unit” menu label.

It does not replace <a href="https://help.vlge.io/en/articles/15054095-homeowner-appliance-list">Appliances</a>, Home Improvements, paint colors, or service providers on the same My Property page. Those stay on the unit as separate lists.

Your organization must have Home Passport available (Vlge enables it for the community; admins can hide it under General Settings → Features → Home Passport). It is not a Vlge Pro add-on.

Home Facts — property type, occupancy, foundation, stories, finished square feet, lot size (when it applies), purchase date, mortgage yes/no.

Interior — bedrooms, baths, flooring, major renovations, fireplaces.

Exterior — siding mix, pool/spa, drainage (hidden for many condos/co-ops, or townhomes where the association maintains the exterior).

Roof — material, age, condition, leaks (same association-maintains rule can hide this).

Systems — electrical panel, wiring, plumbing, HVAC units, water heaters. This is building systems, not your fridge or washer list.

Anyone with access to that property on My Property and permission to view/edit home details. Owners typically can. Renters only can if your Roles and Permissions allow home details for their role. There is no board intake queue — boards do not review Home Passport submissions in the app.

Vlge does not verify what you enter. You are responsible for accuracy. Use licensed professionals and your state’s official forms when it matters.
