Processing Access Requests (Admin Guide)

When potential residents request access, follow these steps to verify and approve them.

Viewing Pending Requests

  1. Go to Admin β†’ Access Requests

  2. View list of pending requests

  3. See requester details: name, email, address claimed

Verification Steps

Before approving, verify:

  1. Address exists - Is the claimed address in your community?

  2. Person belongs there - Are they owner, resident, or authorized?

  3. Not a duplicate - Do they already have an account?

Verification Methods

  • Check against property records

  • Cross-reference with management company

  • Verify deed or lease if needed

  • Contact person directly if uncertain

Approving a Request

  1. Click on the request

  2. Review details

  3. Select the correct address to associate

  4. Assign appropriate roles

  5. Click Approve

The user receives an email with instructions to set their password.

Denying a Request

If request cannot be verified:

  1. Click Deny

  2. Enter reason (for records)

  3. Requester is notified

Common Issues

  • Duplicate requests - Same person, different email

  • Wrong address - Typo or wrong community

  • Renters - Check your renter access policy
