Processing Access Requests (Admin Guide)
When potential residents request access, follow these steps to verify and approve them.
Viewing Pending Requests
Go to Admin β Access Requests
View list of pending requests
See requester details: name, email, address claimed
Verification Steps
Before approving, verify:
Address exists - Is the claimed address in your community?
Person belongs there - Are they owner, resident, or authorized?
Not a duplicate - Do they already have an account?
Verification Methods
Check against property records
Cross-reference with management company
Verify deed or lease if needed
Contact person directly if uncertain
Approving a Request
Click on the request
Review details
Select the correct address to associate
Assign appropriate roles
Click Approve
The user receives an email with instructions to set their password.
Denying a Request
If request cannot be verified:
Click Deny
Enter reason (for records)
Requester is notified
Common Issues
Duplicate requests - Same person, different email
Wrong address - Typo or wrong community
Renters - Check your renter access policy
