So much of HOA business is transmitted over paper mail, but states are beginning to allow electronic consent for official notice delivery. Check your state's laws to confirm for your HOA.
Vlge provides a way for each member in their profile to select electronic consent for official notices from the Association. When a user is created, their initial state is stored in the logs as "no consent granted". Whenever a user changes their consent, that action is recorded in an auditable log found in General Settings in the Management section. If a user selects "grant consent" and then changes it ten days later, both actions are recorded, along with the user's IP address, to show the exact consent state for electronic notices for any given point in time.
When a user makes the change and saves to apply it to their account, we will report the exact date and time the change was made.
