Send physical letters and certified mail directly from Vlge.

Postal Mail Feature

Vlge allows designated roles (see permissions) to send physical postal mail directly from the platform. This is useful for official notices, certified letters, and reaching residents who may not check email.

How It Works

Postal mail is sent through PostGrid, a professional mail fulfillment service:

  1. Create your letter or upload a PDF

  2. Select recipients

  3. Preview the formatted mail piece

  4. Confirm and send

  5. PostGrid prints, stuffs, and mails within 1-2 business days

  6. Track delivery status in the platform

Delivery Times: Delivery times vary and can take 1-2 weeks depending on the service.

Pricing

Postal mail pricing includes:

  • Base postage - Per piece mailing cost

  • Additional pages - Extra charge for multi-page letters

  • Color printing - Optional color surcharge

Creating a Mailing (Board or Admins)

  1. Go to Admin → Messaging → Postal Mail

  2. Click "New Mailing"

  3. Upload your PDF or create from template

  4. Select recipients (all members, by group, or specific addresses)

  5. Choose mail type and options

  6. Preview and confirm

  7. Complete payment or use prepaid balance

Tracking Mail (Depending on Mail Type)

After sending, you can track:

  • Mail piece status (processing, in transit, delivered)

  • Delivery confirmation for certified mail

  • Any failed deliveries or returns
