💰 Accounts in Collections: Settings

You can disable payments for accounts in collections if needed

Depending on your state or the policies of your collections company, or perhaps the policies of the attorney representing your association, you may wish to disable all or some payment methods for accounts that are in collections. You can do so by visiting Billing and Collections and opening the Billing Policies, where you'll find collection policies below the specific policies by charge type.

👉 Navigate to Collections Policies below the charge type table

You can disable specific payment methods, or click to disable all payment methods for accounts in collections. You can also upload your collections policy document, which can then be referenced as needed in future features.


📝 Message to Collections Accounts

Accounts with all payment methods "disabled" will receive a message that their account is in need of attention and that they should contact management to resolve.
