This article applies specifically to unit-level ledger imports and bank account transaction imports.
It is generally not recommended to allow for deleting financial data from a system used for core accounting functions. However, during onboarding and account setup, you may often find that you run an import that doesn't end up exactly the way you wanted.
For this reason, Vlge provides a recent imports delete tool found in the import tools in the financial dashboard.
There are a couple of safeguards in place for this process:
The deletion of the import batch is only available for 24 hours after the batch was imported.
You can only delete the entire batch in order to redo the import. You cannot delete line by line.
Other Notes:
The batch tracking for unit ledger imports only covers imports done after 4/16/2026. Any unit ledger CSV someone ran earlier won't appear in Recent Imports. Bank imports already had batch tracking, so historical bank imports do show up (subject to the 24h window).
Safety check on unit ledger "undo": if a resident or another admin recorded a real payment against one of the imported charges after the import, the undo is refused with a message telling the admin to void that payment first. This prevents orphaning real financial data.
