Tags make finding the right information easier. By creating and assigning tags in various places throughout the platform, you can ensure that the search functions, filter functions and AI indexing finds the right information for your community.
π Where to find Tags
In General Settings in the lower left of the platform (Admin Only), you will find Tag Manager
π Click into Tag Manager and you can add or edit tags.
Note that you have three tabs for editing tags related to your ACC/DRB, Properties and People.
π Editing a Tag
Click the pencil icon and edit tags to change the name, description, color and display order. You can also remove the active checkbox which will temporarily remove the tag from use.
π Tag Name Locked
When a tag has been created and is already assigned to one or more objects, the name of the tag is locked and cannot be edited. You can still change the description and the color, and you can mark the tag as inactive if you wish. This protects objects that are already tagged by one name from being switched after tagging.
You can remove the tag from the objects (whether ACC properties or people) and rename it then, or you can delete the tag and create a new one and then assign it to the individual objects.
ποΈ Deleting Tags
You can delete tags from the Tag Manager using the trash can icon in the list; however, topic tags used in the architectural control guidance items need un-tagging first at the item level as other functions use these tags.
Tab | Delete Behavior |
ACC (TopicTag) | Blocked if any ACC Guidance item still references it - you must untag those items first. |
Properties (Tag) | Cascades: the tag is removed from every property it was on, in one transaction. |
People (Tag) | Cascades: the tag is removed from every person it was on, in one transaction. |
