Financial Tools can be found in the left Navigation of the Vlge platform. Here you can setup and link bank accounts, import or create new budgets, and categorize transactions.
Your Dashboard
The overview begins on your dashboard where you can see at quick glance the overall status of your balances, and navigate quickly to any common task like managing transactions, creating reports, or updating your chart of accounts.
Banking Connections
Vlge uses Plaid to connect to banks and import all transactions and balances. Plaid is the industry leader in secure bank connections (sample balances and accounts used below).
Transaction View & Categorization
You can quickly view and categorize all transactions, lining them up for budget reporting quickly and easily.
Chart of Accounts
With Vlge we setup a default set of the most traditional accounts for Assets, Liabilities, Revenue and Expenses. These are yours though to edit, and any edits are specific to your community. When building a budget, you can select any or all, or come back to the Chart and create new ones.
Budgets
Budget building can be a chore, but Vlge makes it as easy as possible for HOA Boards. You can create it manually using your chart of accounts, selecting the applicable ones, and adding your own budget estimates - OR use our intuitive budget builder in an interview style approach.
Budget Builder
In our intuitive interview style approach, you answer a few questions before going through each parent account and selecting what is most meaningful to you for each category. The results is beautiful budget that you can then refine further if you wish.
Choose your dues paying unit count (pre-filled with your actual number from setup)

Then proceed through each section of expenses to edit budget amounts and produce a month by month editable budget.
You can edit month by month and line by line, export as a CSV or save and compare to other years.
If you accidentally left out some line items, you can add them afterwards as well.
