💰 Manual Bank Accounts

Entering transactions and historical data from non-connected accounts

In Vlge, you can connect live bank accounts using Plaid, which will bring in transactions and balances on an ongoing basis. However, if you're transitioning from a property management firm or you have historical bank statements and are moving to a new bank such as Western Alliance, you may want to manually enter these accounts in order to report on historical transactions and deposits.

In some cases, you may choose to operate from a bank that does not connect through Plaid, in which case all banking operations will be manual. See below for more details.

Scroll to Manual Bank Accounts

👉 Select Add Account and enter the details of the account

In many cases, when these bank accounts are simply available as placeholders for historical data, you may not wish to include their totals in your total balance reported in the financial dashboard. If you do wish to have their totals included, select the toggle for "IN TOTAL".

The balances as reported in the GL will then be shown in your Financial Dashboard.
