Plaid Process
Plaid is a highly secure service for connecting software platforms to popular banking institutions. In most cases, the Plaid connection process opens an instant verification window where you can use your selected bank's online credentials to verify and authorize the connection. In some cases, however, if the online verification is giving you an error, you can choose to manually enter your account number
👉 See the following example for PNC Bank
➡ STEP 1 :
Select the bank but do NOT click Continue to log in
👉 Select Enter account number instead to manually connect your account.
➡ STEP 2
Enter the requested information and you will see these instructions (or similar)
👉 The actual deposit on your bank account may look slightly different but the important part is to look for the 3-digit code. Check your bank account online for the instant deposit and look carefully at the Description line. Note that this is the PNC Bank process and other banks may differ slightly.
