The Vendor Directory is your community's hub for finding trusted local service providers.
Accessing the Directory
Click Vendor Directory in the navigation menu
You'll see two tabs:
Local Vendors — Vendors rated by your community members
Sponsored — Paid vendor placements (clearly labeled)
Searching for Vendors
Search by Name — Type a vendor's name in the search bar
Filter by Category — Select categories like Plumbing, Landscaping, Electrical
Filter by Rating — Show only vendors with a minimum star rating
Sort Results — By rating, number of reviews, or alphabetically
Understanding Vendor Cards
Each vendor card shows:
Name and Logo — Business identity
Overall Rating — Average stars from all reviews (1-5)
Review Count — Number of community reviews
Categories — Services they provide
Verified Badge — If the vendor has claimed and verified their profile
Sponsored Badge — If this is a paid placement
Viewing Vendor Details
Click on a vendor card to see:
Full contact information (phone, email, website)
Service areas (ZIP codes they serve)
Detailed attribute ratings (Quality, Timeliness, Value, Communication, Reliability)
All reviews with photos
Vendor's response to reviews (if any)
Cross-Community Ratings
If a vendor serves multiple communities, you may see:
Your Community Rating — Reviews from your neighbors
Aggregate Rating — Combined rating from all communities (e.g., "4.5★ from 3 nearby communities")
Local ratings are always given priority in sorting and display.
